Jog it...

Jogging the Challenge is a perfect combination of stepping it up, setting yourself a new goal, with opportunity to try a longer distance with full support, but without the pressures of being classified as a 'full on' runner. If you can't jog the full distance - you can always walk some bits!

All Joggers receive:

  • FREE hot food at Major Rest Stops (except 1st) & at the finish line 
  • FREE snacks & drinks at all Major & Mid Point Rest Stops
  • Trek Masters leading paced groups to join up with during night stages
  • Medics & doctors on hand at all Rest Stops 
  • Massages available at 55km Rest Stop
  • Warm up at the start line
  • Finishers medal, t-shirt & glass of bubbly
  • Shuttle service from the finish line to station
  • Support vehicles on hand throughout event
  • Timing chips & timing website for friends / family to track you

Full Challenge - 100 km - Sat through to Sun

A continuous jog (or walk some / run some) from Eastbourne to Arundel. Saturday morning start, on through day & night for a Sunday finish. Most participants will be on this epic challenge.

  • Times: Eastbourne start Sat 25 August, 8.00 - 10.00am
  • Route: Eastbourne start, along the Seven Sisters, through Brighton & Hove and onto Arundel through the South Downs.
  • Target Time: 16 - 20 hours

Inclusions:

  • Energy & water snack stops every ~12.5km
  • Hot meal at half way Rest top in 55km (Sat dinner)
  • Hot meal at 80km Rest Stop (late dinner / breakfast)
  • Finishers meal (Sunday morning / afternoon)

Optional extras you can book:

  • Baggage transfer (in cash on the day)
  • 23km meal

2 Day Full Challenge - 100 km - Sat & Sun

Do the Full 100 km over 2 days; walk in daylight & rest at half way. Saturday morning start for 1st 55km, start 6.00am start Sunday morning for the 2nd half 45km.

  • Times: Eastbourne start Sat 25 August 8.00 - 10.00am, then Hove Sunday at 6.00am
  • Route: Eastbourne start, along the Seven Sisters, through Brighton & Hove (where you stop for the Saturday eve) and oon Sunday morning nto Arundel through the South Downs.
  • Target Time: 10 - 16 hours / day (Sunday afternoon / evening finish)

Inclusions:

  • Energy & water snack stops every ~12.5km
  • Hot meal at half way stop in 50km (Sat dinner)
  • Hot meal at 80km rest stop (brunch)
  • Finishers meal (Sunday afternoon / evening)

Optional extras you can book:

  • Baggage transfer to half way then onward to Arundel (bookable in cash on the day)
  • 23km meal

1st Half Challenge - 55km - Saturday

Take on the 1st Half Challenge - a challenging 55km jog - setting out from Eastbourne on Saturday morning!

  • Times: Eastbourne, Saturday 25 August; 8am - 10am 
  • Route: Eastbourne start, along the Seven Sisters, onward to Hove.
  • Target time: 10 - 16 Hours (Saturday evening finish time)

Inclusions:

  • Snack & energy stops at 10 & 35 km
  • Hot meal in 50km (Saturday dinner)

Optional extras you can book:

  • Optional baggage transfer (bookable on the day in cash)
  • 23km meal

2nd Half Challenge - 45km - Saturday

Take on the 2nd Half Challenge - a challenging 45km jog - setting out from Hove at midday on Saturday to Arundel. 

  • Times: Hove, Saturday 25 August; Midday
  • Route: Hove start and onto Arundel through the South Downs.
  • Target Time: 10 - 16 Hours

Inclusions:

  • Snack & energy stops every 12.5km
  • Finisher's hot meal at Arundel

Optional extras:

  • Optional baggage transfer to finish (paid in cash on the day)
  • Meal at 80km

1st Quarter - 23km - Saturday

Take on the Quarter Challenge - a challenging 23km jog. Starting on the Saturday morning at Eastbourne. 

  • Times: Eastbourne, Saturday 26th 8am - 10am
  • Route: Eastbourne to Alfriston
  • Target Time: 3-5 Hours (Saturday afternoon finish)

Inclusions:

  • A snack & energy stop at 10 km
  • Finishers meal at 23 km (Saturday afternoon)

Optional extras:

  • Optional baggage transfer (in cash on the day)
